Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Plan the CAE Vehicle Dynamics analyses for vehicle project to achieve virtual validation (VV) gateway Design Verification Plan
Conduct the Ride and Handling analysis assigned to himself to achieve VV gateway by using CAE tools like ADAMS-CAR and MotionSolve.
Conduct Kinematic analysis of suspension, vehicle shaker simulation and durability loads prediction.
To ensure that all the analysis are meeting the acceptance criteria by suggesting and trying out various design changes so that the acceptance criteria is meet.
Plan and execute ride and handling correlations in order to establish robust analysis methodologies by comparing the simulation result with the physical test result.
Automation of the repetitive analysis tasks to delivery results within shortest possible time.

Qualifications

General Requirements

Should have hands on experience on CAE tools like ADAMS VIEW, ADAMS CAR, HyperMesh, Hyperview.
Should have sound understanding of Ride and Handling analysis methods.
Should conceptual understanding of vehicle dynamics and ability to resolve associated problems.
Should have knowledge about automotive vehicle, their suspension systems and related vehicle dynamics analyses.
Should have knowledge of suspension elements such as springs, dampers and damper tuning, rubber bushes.

Should have the knowledge of macro, scripting in ADAMS to automate the cumbersome and repetitive simulation tasks
