Measurement Incharge

We are looking for a Measurement In-Charge who will be responsible for accurate on-site measurements of painting and gypsum finishing works as per project standards and drawings. The role requires verification of actual executed quantities and maintaining proper measurement records.

Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in painting works, gypsum finishing, and interior finishing projects.

Key Responsibilties:-

Site Measurement

Take accurate on-site measurements of completed works including painting areas, gypsum partitions, false ceilings, and other interior finishing activities. Verify actual executed quantities as per drawings and site conditions. Ensure measurements are recorded systematically and accurately.

Quantity Verification

Prepare measurement sheets and quantity calculations based on site measurements. Compare executed quantities with the BOQ and approved drawings. Identify and report quantity variations to the project team.

Documentation and Records

Maintain proper measurement records, quantity tracking sheets, and work progress details. Ensure all measurement data is documented clearly for project records and internal reference.

Site Coordination

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to confirm executed work quantities. Ensure measurements are taken at the correct stage of work completion.

Reporting

Provide regular measurement updates to the project manager or site engineer. Support the project team with accurate measurement data for monitoring project progress.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of site measurement methods for painting and gypsum finishing works.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQ.

Proficiency in MS Excel and Basic AutoCAD.

Good coordination and communication with site teams.

Attention to detail and accuracy in recording measurements.
