Microsoft Intune SME

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune / Endpoint SME to lead the design, implementation, migration, and support of enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune. The role also includes working on tenant-to-tenant Intune migrations, proposal creation, effort estimation, client-facing solution presentations, and mentoring of junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in modern device management, Microsoft 365 security integration, and be comfortable working in pre-sales and delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Delivery:

• Architect and deploy Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager solutions for managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Configure and manage:
• Windows Autopilot
• Compliance Policies
• Configuration Profiles
• App Protection Policies (MAM)
• Conditional Access
• Defender for Endpoint and security baselines
• Lead Intune tenant-to-tenant migrations, including export/import of policies, remediation of cross-tenant dependencies, re-enrollment planning, and user/device transition strategies.
• Integrate Intune with Microsoft Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint, and Purview compliance solutions.
• Perform assessments of existing environments and recommend optimizations for performance, security, and compliance.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle including provisioning, configuration, patching, software deployment, and retirement.

Proposal & Pre-Sales Support:

• Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and bid teams to understand requirements and design suitable endpoint management solutions.
• Prepare technical solution documentation, effort estimates, and project timelines for RFPs, RFIs, and SoWs.
• Participate in client calls, technical workshops, and solution demonstrations.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with Microsoft best practices and customer business needs.

Mentoring & Capability Building:

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and consultants in Intune, Microsoft 365 security, and endpoint architecture.
• Conduct internal training, peer reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Support competency building and contribute to the development of reusable solution assets.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure or endpoint management roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Proven experience in Intune tenant-to-tenant migration strategies, tools, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Autopilot
• Device configuration and compliance
• Endpoint security policies (BitLocker, Defender, AV exclusions)
• Software distribution and patch management
• Mobile Application Management (MAM) and BYOD support
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Understanding of Azure AD, Conditional Access, licensing models, and hybrid identity scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certifications:
• MD-102: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• MS-500: Security Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Familiarity with tools and methods for Intune tenant migrations (Graph API, JSON exports, scripting).
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and compliance solutions like Microsoft Purview.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Log Analytics (KQL).
• Exposure to industry compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC).
