Job Profile: PCB Soldering & Assembly Technician

Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics

Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with certification may also be considered)

Job Summary

Responsible for manual and semi-automatic PCB soldering, assembly, and inspection of electronic boards used in IoT and embedded systems. The role involves working with through-hole and SMD components while ensuring high quality and reliability as per production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual soldering and assembly of through-hole and SMD components
• PCB rework, desoldering, and component replacement
• Visual inspection and basic electrical testing
• Following assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
• Maintaining ESD safety and cleanliness standards
• Supporting prototype and small-batch production

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of electronic components and symbols
• Hands-on experience with soldering irons, hot air stations
• Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts
• Understanding of ESD precautions and quality practices

• Attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / BSC / MSC in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
