Pest Control Operator

A Pest Control Operator inspects, identifies, and eliminates pests (insects, rodents, termites) from residential and commercial properties using baits, traps, and chemicals. They create Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plans, apply treatments safely, educate clients on prevention, and maintain accurate service logs.

Company will provide a training for the same at no cost from employee.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Identification: Survey interior/exterior property areas to identify pest types, entry points, and damage.
• Treatment Application: Apply pesticides, powders, sprays, and gases safely in compliance with safety regulations and laws.
• Pest Removal & Control: Set traps, baits, and mechanical devices; perform exclusion work (sealing holes/cracks) to prevent re-entry.
• Customer Service: Advise clients on sanitation, maintenance, and follow-up treatments; provide cost estimates.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid state-issued driver’s license and required pest control operator certifications/licenses.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, strong customer service skills, and ability to follow precise safety instructions.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to work in confined spaces, lift equipment, and work in varied weather conditions.

Typical Working Conditions

• Full-time positions may require working on weekends.
• Frequent travel to client locations.
