Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed Pharmacist responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing guidance on the proper use of prescribed drugs. The role involves maintaining pharmacy operations in compliance with legal and healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely

Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential drug interactions

Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage

Maintain proper records of prescriptions and inventory

Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff

Manage stock, expiry dates, and medicine storage conditions

Handle pharmacy billing and documentation (where applicable)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)

Valid Pharmacist license/registration

0–3 years of experience (freshers may apply, depending on role)

Good knowledge of medicines, formulations, and drug safety

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication and customer-handling skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy

Familiarity with pharmacy software and billing systems

Knowledge of inventory management and audits

Understanding of healthcare compliance and safety standards
