Job Description
- Picking: Locating and gathering items from warehouse shelves according to a list of ordered products.
- Packing: Securing picked items in appropriate packaging, adding protective materials, and ensuring they are ready for shipping.
- Quality control: Inspecting products for defects or damage before packing them.
- Labeling: Affixing labels with correct information, such as order numbers and shipping addresses.
- Inventory management: Keeping accurate records of picked and packed items, updating inventory systems, and organizing stock.
- Warehouse maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Loading: Assisting in loading trucks and other vehicles for delivery.
Key skills
- Attention to detail to ensure correct items and quantities are picked and packed.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for long periods and lift boxes.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
