Planning Engineer

A Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. They coordinate with project teams, analyze progress, and mitigate risks.

• Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed project schedules using planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
• Identify delays, risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts
• Conduct resource planning and allocation
• Analyze critical path and ensure project milestones are met
• Review contractor schedules and track performance
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Understanding of construction/project management processes
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects preferred
