Power–Electricity Tower String Pulling Team

Job Description:

The String Pulling Team will be responsible for conductor stringing, tensioning, and sagging works for transmission lines. They ensure safe execution of conductor pulling operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform conductor stringing and tension-pulling operations
• Set up pulling, tensioning machines, rollers, and pulleys
• Maintain required sag, clearance, and tension parameters
• Follow approved stringing methodology and safety guidelines
• Coordinate with tower erection and line survey teams
• Inspect conductors, insulators, and hardware fittings
• Ensure protection of public and property during stringing
• Maintain daily work progress and checklists
• Handle emergency troubleshooting during stringing activities

Requirements:

• Experience in transmission line conductor stringing
• Hands-on experience with tensioners, pullers, rollers, winches, etc.
• Understanding of sag-tension charts and line clearance norms
• Physically fit to work in field conditions
• Strong focus on safety and risk management
• Ability to work in remote/terrain-based project locations
