Pre-Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant – Computer Services


Job Summary

The Pre-Sales professional supports the sales team by understanding customer requirements, presenting technical proposals that align with business needs. The role ensures technical accuracy, feasibility, and value articulation before contracts are finalized.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Requirement Analysis

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand business needs, and technical requirements
  • Translate customer needs into clear solution requirements


2. Technical Presentations & Demonstrations

  • Deliver product/service presentations, demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
  • Explain complex technical concepts in simple, business-friendly language


3. Sales & Internal Collaboration

  • Act as a technical advisor to sales teams during client meetings
  • Coordinate with the Team.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer expectations


4. Transition to Delivery

  • Support handover from pre-sales to project delivery teams
  • Ensure solution intent and customer expectations are clearly documented
  • Reduce delivery risks through proper scoping
