Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Supports assigned strategic projects
• Work with procurement and business partners to assess their business needs and contribute meaningfully to the development of cost optimization drivers and strategies.
• Populate and maintain complex databases and apply analytical tools, techniques and systems to analyze and interpret a wide range of supplier and organizational information and options to support procurement planning and decision making.
• Undertake research, cost modelling and analysis of supply markets to identify opportunities and inform sourcing strategies
• Effective management of supplier performance and sustainability reporting
• Support Category Managers in activities such as sourcing support, reporting & ad-hoc tasks
• Communicating technical reports and analyses in a meaningful way to procurement stakeholders
• Support supplier quality data management
• Support procurement automation projects

 

Required education, experience, knowledge

 

• Supply Chain Management experience
• Degree in supply chain management or engineering
• Digital tools / automation experience
• 1-2 years in procurement function in Engineering Industry.
• Very good Communication skills
• Experience in Digital Procurement Tools
• A self-starter and proactive approach to the category management support tasks
• Microsoft Office
• VBA, Macros - Advantage
• SAP ERP - Advantage
• Familiar with ESG practices and sustainable procurement - Advantage
• Microsoft Power Platform - Power BI basic knowledge
