Role Objective:To ensure smooth execution of production activities and in-line quality checks for a designated unit (e.g., Metal / Wood / Coating etc.). This role acts as the bridge between the job card plan and on-ground execution, ensuring production targets are met without compromising quality.

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Production Supervision

• Ensure the day's job cards are understood and properly allocated to workers.
• Supervise machine usage, manpower efficiency, and shift discipline.
• Maintain production log sheets, job card progress, and WIP records.

1. Quality Oversight (In-process + Pre-dispatch)

• Monitor in-line production for dimensions, finish, and tolerances.
• Flag non-conformities and raise rework slips if required.
• Ensure components are marked for next stage only if they meet internal quality standards.

1. Coordination

• Coordinate with Store Executive for material issuance.
• Liaise with PPC and Production Head for timelines and bottlenecks.
• Notify maintenance team if any equipment issues are noticed.

1. Team Discipline

• Manage 5–10 workers during shift, monitor attendance and conduct.
• Escalate behavioral or productivity concerns to Production Head.
• Ensure 5S and safety compliance is followed in the unit.
•  Desired Profile:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a factory floor supervisory role
• Working knowledge of drawings, gauges, tools, and quality control steps
• Good communication, basic paperwork, and people handling skills
• Must be proactive, responsible, and solution-focused
