Job SummaryWe are seeking a high-caliber Project Head to lead large-scale, government-contracted electrical infrastructure projects across India. This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of Project utility works, including underground cabling, pole installations, and RMU setups. You will act as the primary bridge between on-site labor crews, the Warehouse Manager, and government stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Staff Management

  • Lead and monitor the performance of Electrical Engineers, Supervisors, Staff, and Labor crews.
  • Conduct regular site reviews to identify bottlenecks and ensure safety compliance.

2. Material & Stock Management

  • Liaison with Warehouse: Coordinate closely with the Warehouse Manager (WHM) to ensure material availability.
  • Stock Control: Perform physical verification of stock on-site to prevent wastage or theft.
  • Reconciliation: Audit "Material Issued" vs. "Material Installed" to maintain strict inventory accuracy.

3. Commercial & Billing Oversight

  • Manage the full billing cycle, including measurement book (MB) entries and invoice submissions for government tenders.
  • Review project expenses and labor costs to ensure the project remains profitable.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for material subcontractors.
  • Attend high-level progress meetings with Government Executive Engineers and department heads.
  • Resolve any technical or logistical conflicts between the site requirements and vendor deliveries.
  • Qualification & SkillsEducational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Core Experience: Proven track record in Transmission Lines projects.
  • Leadership: Exceptional ability to handle diverse Supervisor & technical staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel and stay at project sites across India as required.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely Completion: Meeting government-mandated project milestones.
  • Stock Accuracy: Zero variance between warehouse dispatch and site installation.
  • Billing Efficiency: Reducing the turnaround time between work execution and payment collection.
  • Safety Record: Maintaining a zero-accident environment on roadside sites.
