Role Summary

The Junior Benefits & Value Analyst will support the Finance & Value Management function within the PMO, assisting the Benefits Capture Lead in tracking and reporting financial and non-financial benefits across the enterprise technology portfolio. This entry-level role will focus on administrative and analytical tasks, helping maintain accurate data, prepare reports, and support communication with Finance, Strategy, and Delivery teams. The successful candidate will contribute to value realization efforts and gain exposure to financial planning and benefits management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking financial and non-financial benefits across assigned initiatives, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Support the preparation of regular benefits and value realization reports for review by senior analysts and PMO leadership.
  • Help maintain automated dashboards and reporting templates, ensuring timely updates and data accuracy.
  • Compile data from Finance and Delivery teams to support analysis of actuals versus planned benefits.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for executive and delivery stakeholders.
  • Support communication and coordination between Finance, PMO, and project teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to benefits tracking and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and data management standards in all reporting activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Some experience in financial analysis, project support, or benefits tracking roles (internships or work placements considered).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Basic analytical skills and experience in data entry, reporting, or documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Willingness to participate in upskilling programs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting technology or transformation projects in a PMO or finance function.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and basic dashboard/reporting techniques.
  • Interest in learning AI-driven tools for financial reporting and benefits tracking.
  • Willingness to contribute ideas to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
