Purchase Assistant – Solar EPC

Role Summary:

The Purchase Assistant will support procurement activities for solar EPC projects by coordinating with vendors, tracking material orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement of solar materials (modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.)
• Float enquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements
• Coordinate with vendors for order placement, delivery schedules, and follow-ups
• Track material dispatch, logistics, and site delivery status
• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and ERP entries (e.g., ERPNext)
• Support inventory planning and ensure minimum stock levels
• Assist in vendor development and price negotiations

Requirements:

• Diploma / Graduate (Mechanical / Electrical / Supply Chain preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement (Solar EPC preferred)
• Basic knowledge of solar components and materials
• Familiarity with ERP systems (ERPNext preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills
