Purchase Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to oversee and manage purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and supplies required for the manufacturing of cable trays and earthing materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, negotiation, cost control, and ensuring a seamless supply chain to support production operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers for raw materials such as GI sheets, MS steel, aluminum, copper strips, rods, and fasteners.

Source and procure components while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to optimize procurement costs.

Develop alternate supplier sources to reduce dependency on single vendors.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure uninterrupted material supply.

Track orders and maintain updated records of purchases, suppliers, pricing, and inventory levels.

Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inbound shipments and material handling.

Vendor & Quality Management:

Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Collaborate with the Quality Control team to resolve material defects or non-compliance issues.

Develop long-term supplier partnerships for better reliability and pricing advantages.

Cost Optimization & Compliance:

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

Manage purchase requisitions and approvals in line with budget allocations.
