Should manage procurement cycle, supplier negotiation, comparative rate analysis, GRN & stock registers, slow moving/expiry tracking, inward-outward discipline, inventory audits, price locking and cost-saving. Must ensure uninterrupted supply to all verticals.

The Purchase Head will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. The role includes vendor identification and management, price negotiation, contract finalization, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The candidate will oversee purchase planning, inventory control, and cost optimization while ensuring quality standards and timely deliveries. Additionally, the Purchase Head will coordinate with project and finance teams, monitor market trends, manage purchase documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

The candidate should hold a Any Graduate or Diploma degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM), B.Com, or B.Sc. with 5+ years of experience in purchase and stores management in construction industry. The applicant must have practical knowledge of procurement processes, vendor coordination, inventory control, and material management. Basic understanding of documentation, billing procedures, and coordination with accounts and project teams is required. The candidate should possess good negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage stock efficiently while ensuring timely procurement.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement and stores management processes, along with the ability to handle vendor coordination and price negotiations effectively. Good inventory management and material tracking skills are essential to ensure proper stock control and timely availability of materials.
