Team Overview​
At KPMG, within the Engineering service line, we are seeking a highly skilled software engineer The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the application using Azure cloud services. This includes creating Enterprise UI, APIs and containerizing the application using the principles of microservice architecture.​

Roles & responsibilities

• Developing scalable backend services in Node JS(Express JS or Nest JS).
• Build responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular or React. ​
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define software specifications.
• Connecting applications with other services, APIs, and databases.
• Ensuring code quality through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting​.
  

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node JS(Express JS or Nest JS), and RESTful APIs.​
• Experience in building responsive and interactive UI solutions using modern front-end technologies like Angular or React. ​
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.​
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL).​
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).​
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)​
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred technical & functional skills

• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.​
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.​
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is often preferred.
  

Educational qualifications ​

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.​ ​

Work experience​

• 4-7 years of professional experience in NodeJS Full Stack Development​ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.​
• Explore and evaluate Generative AI techniques for potential integration into existing software systems.​
