QA / QC Executive

• Develop and implement quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer requirements
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Analyze data and provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence
• Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance quality processes and outcomes
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices

Automotive Quality Engineer Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO/TS 16949
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and methods
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within the automotive industry
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices, including Six Sigma and ISO 9001
• Working knowledge of failure investigation techniques and related tools: 8D, 6 Sigma, Root Cause Analysis.
• Own and resolve complaints and requests from assigned customer
• Quality statistics and sampling plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead projects to successful completion
• Ability to communicate with the customer in order to gather information necessary to troubleshoot and conduct investigation updates
• Ability to work with a multifunctional team; Manufacturing Engineering, Applications Engineering, R&D, Operations and Quality
• Ability to serve as the voice of the customer back into the business and work across the Commercial and Operations team to prioritize the customer needs
