Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors and manages the testing process by defining and applying key metrics, ensuring effective test execution and timely resolution of defects. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement of quality processes are central to daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with overall project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools relevant to API testing.
- Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies for complex applications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges in testing processes and deliver quality solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in API Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
