Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Data Migration Lead to plan, execute, and govern end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementations. The role focuses on Finance (FICO) data objects and requires close collaboration with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely migration of financial data. The role demands proven expertise in delivering end-to-end SAP data migration solutions, particularly for complex, large-scale transformation programs. Candidates with strong industry exposure across Manufacturing, Retail, CMT and Consumer Goods will be highly valued.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end data migration for SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) modules
Define and own the data migration strategy, approach, and roadmap
Identify, analyze, and validate FICO data objects (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, etc.)
Design and manage data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities
Work closely with Finance business stakeholders to validate data quality and reconciliation
Coordinate mock conversions, test cycles, and cutover activities
Develop and execute data reconciliation and validation reports
Ensure compliance with SAP S/4HANA data model changes (e.g., Universal Journal – ACDOCA)
Manage data migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, Migration Cockpit, SLT, or third-party tools)
Identify risks and dependencies propose mitigation strategies
Lead and mentor data migration team members
Support post-go-live stabilization and data issue resolution


Professional & Technical Skills:
8+ years of SAP experience with strong RMCA and FSCM functional knowledge
3+ years of SAP S/4HANA data migration experience (Finance-focused)
Deep understanding of SAP RMCA and FSCM master and transactional data
RMCA - EMIGAL expertise
FSCM - objects (dispute / credit management)
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit / LTMC / LSMW / SLT
Strong knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA Finance architecture
Experience in data reconciliation, validation, and financial controls
Ability to work across functional, technical, and business teams
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills


User Enablement & Post-Go-Live Support
Create and conduct training sessions for R2R stakeholders covering data validation, reconciliation procedures, and migration-related processes.
Provide advanced functional support during and after go-live, resolving issues related to reconciliations, period close, and financial reporting.


Business Process Optimization & Data Governance
Evaluate existing R2R data models and business processes to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Establish robust and scalable migration workflows that enhance data accuracy, financial close efficiency, reporting reliability, and compliance.

Cross-Functional & Cross-Module Integration
Ensure smooth integration of migrated finance data with interconnected SAP modules including MM, SD, PP, and PS.
Manage interdependencies during migration such as invoice processing, asset capitalization, intercompany postings, and financial reconciliations.


Additional Information:
Prior experience as Data Migration Lead on at least one full S/4HANA implementation
Experience with ECC to S/4HANA conversions or Greenfield implementations
SAP certification in FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA Finance, or Data Migration is highly preferred.
Master s degree (MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration) is an advantage.
Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required)
