Quality Inspector

Position: Electrical Test Engineer / Component Validation Engineer

Industry: Electronics / Automotive / Electrical Components

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing of components including Turns Ratio, Inductance (Lk, Ls), DCR (DC Resistance), Capacitance (CK), IR, and Hi-Pot testing.
• Operate electrical test equipment such as LCR meters, Turns Ratio testers, Hi-Pot testers, and insulation resistance testers.
• Validate electrical parameters according to defined test specifications and pin configurations.
• Conduct insulation and dielectric strength tests between pins and core.
• Carry out visual inspection using magnification tools to identify physical defects.
• Verify product dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, gauges, and fixtures.
• Record test results and prepare inspection reports and test documentation.
• Ensure 100% compliance with electrical test procedures and quality standards.
• Identify deviations from specifications and escalate quality concerns.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures.

• Maintain calibration status and proper handling of test equipment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical component testing (transformers / inductors / coils).
• Understanding of pin configuration and electrical circuit testing.
• Experience with LCR meters, Hi-Pot testers, insulation resistance testers.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical specifications.
• Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
• Basic understanding of root cause analysis and defect investigation.
