We are seeking a Female Gym Receptionist to provide excellent customer service, ensure smooth daily operations, and serve as the first point of contact for members and visitors.
Job Description:
As a Female Gym Receptionist, you will be the face of our gym, greeting members and guests, assisting with their inquiries, and ensuring that the gym's front desk operates smoothly. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression and helping members feel welcome. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly personality, and a passion for fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome gym members, potential clients, and visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information about memberships, classes, and gym facilities.
- Address members' inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the reception area.
- **Administrative Support:**
- Manage front desk operations, including checking in members, processing memberships, and handling inquiries.
- Handle gym member registration, updates, and payments using the gym's management software.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, personal training sessions, and group fitness classes.
- Maintain accurate records of members' attendance and other relevant information.
- **Membership Sales & Promotion:**
- Promote membership packages, special offers, and gym services to potential new clients.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to membership renewals, cancellations, and upgrades.
- Provide detailed information about the gym's services and facilities to prospects and walk-ins.
- **Facility Maintenance:**
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate team members.
- **Communication & Coordination:**
- Maintain communication with gym trainers and staff to keep track of schedules, classes, and appointments.
- Assist with the coordination of gym events, promotions, and campaigns.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:**
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Prior experience in a gym, fitness center, or health club environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
- **Skills & Attributes:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks with attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office or gym management software.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or high-pressure situations.
- **Physical Fitness:**
- A general interest in fitness and wellness is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light physical tasks (e.g., organizing brochures, handing out towels).
- **Availability:**
- Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, depending on gym schedule and staffing needs.
