Job Overview

The Recon role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to provide accurate and comprehensive information. The individual in this role will be expected to conduct thorough research, compile detailed reports, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. The Recon specialist will work closely with multiple departments, including operations, finance, and strategy, to support decision-making and strategic planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of Unix systems.
• Responsible for the administration of Oracle and MySQL databases, including design, installation, and maintenance.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to Unix, Oracle DB, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Unix: The candidate must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of Unix. This includes the ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot Unix systems.
• Oracle DB: The candidate must have experience in Oracle Database administration, including the ability to design, install, and maintain Oracle databases.
• MySQL: The candidate must have a strong understanding of MySQL, including the ability to design, install, and maintain MySQL databases.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• MS SSIS: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.
• Python: Knowledge of Python programming language is beneficial.
• Unix Shell Scripting: Experience in Unix Shell Scripting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Java programming language.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Perl programming language.
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
