Job Overview
The Recon-FA MENA Impl role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for the implementation and management of financial accounting systems across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the reconciliation of financial discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing expert guidance on financial accounting matters. This role requires a high level of financial acumen, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Unix, Oracle DB, and MySQL systems.
- They will be required to troubleshoot any issues that arise in these systems and ensure their smooth operation.
- The candidate will also be responsible for the design and implementation of databases.
- They will be required to work closely with other teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Unix: The candidate must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of Unix. They should be able to handle Unix-based systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Oracle DB: The candidate must have experience in managing and working with Oracle databases. They should be able to perform tasks such as data manipulation, query optimization, and database maintenance.
- MySQL: The candidate should have a strong understanding of MySQL. They should be able to design and implement MySQL databases, perform database administration tasks, and troubleshoot any issues.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
Preferred Skills
- MS SSIS: Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services would be beneficial.
- Python: Experience in Python programming would be an added advantage.
- Unix Shell Scripting: Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with data warehousing.
- Familiarity with ETL tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of data modeling and design.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
