Job Description: Engineer (Installation & Commissioning)1. Position OverviewSHL is establishing a new Cylinder Test Facility at Takwe. We are looking for qualified engineers to manage the installation and commissioning of equipment scheduled for mid-2025. This position is a third-party contractual role aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted progress of facility development.

3. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Installation & Commissioning: Oversee and manage the setup of equipment for the new Cylinder Test Facility.
• Technical Calibration: Setup and execution of calibration for parameters including electrical, mechanical, sound, vibration, and thermal systems.
• Project Progress: Ensure timely commissioning and subsequent operation of the facility according to the project timeline.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during the installation phase.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Onsite Support: Provide onsite support at Takwe and other ARA locations or external customer sites across India as required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of calibration methods, standards, and uncertainty measurements.

Soft Skills:

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• E-mail Etiquette: Proficiency in drafting professional emails in English.
• Operational Efficiency: Ability to handle day-to-day operational challenges independently.
