Restaurant Cashier

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash handling and payment operations at our restaurant. 

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cash & Billing

• Handle all cash and billing transactions during restaurant operations
• Maintain accuracy between cash, card, and online payments
• Perform daily day-end cash tally and ensure zero mismatch

Payments & Vendor Management

• Ensure timely payment of vendor bills as per instructions
• Maintain records of vendor invoices and payments
• Coordinate with management regarding outstanding dues

Reporting & Discipline

• Maintain daily cash reports and submit to management
• Flag discrepancies immediately, if any
• Follow internal controls and cash-handling SOPs strictly

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cashier in a restaurant / hotel / bar is preferred
• Basic accounting and numerical accuracy is a must
• Familiarity with Pet Pooja POS software is a strong advantage
• Comfortable using computers, billing systems, and reports
• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented
