Job Description – Restaurant Manager Date of Joining Jan-2026, Age Limit 35 & M/F

1. Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving sales performance. This role involves managing- Service + Bar + Kitchen + H.K + Hostess + Marketing Staff, coordinating service workflows, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and policies.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through prompt service and professional communication.
  • Handle guest complaints, escalations, and special requests with empathy and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Maintain service standards, table etiquette, and ambience throughout operating hours.
  • Manage VIP guests, reservations, and special event arrangements.

B. Staff Supervision & Team Management

  • Oversee daily staff deployment, briefing, grooming checks, and role assignments.
  • Train and mentor team members in service etiquette, upselling, guest interaction, and SOP compliance.
  • Monitor staff behavior, discipline, punctuality, and performance.
  • Help maintain a positive work culture and ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH.

C. Operations & Floor Management

  • Ensure all sections (dining, bar, service pass, entrance, dance floor, restrooms) are running efficiently.
  • Conduct daily opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists.
  • Manage crowd flow during peak hours, weekends, and event nights.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen for timely order handling and avoid delays.
  • Monitor music volume, lighting, décor, and cleanliness levels.

D. Marketing Sales & Target Oriented

  • Drive upselling, promotions, weekday offers, and event campaigns.
  • Monitor daily sales reports, table occupancy, and revenue trends.
  • Execute brand promotions, festivals, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Assist in implementing influencer tie-ups and social media collaborations & achieve all monthly quantity targets.

E. Inventory, Maintenance & Compliance

  • Conduct weekly stock checks for disposables, crockery, glassware, and service items.
  • Raise purchase requests and coordinate with vendors when needed.
  • Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Report maintenance issues (AC, lights, bar equipment, POS, furniture, restrooms) and follow up to closure.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company SOPs.

F. Technology & Systems

  • Efficiently use POS systems, billing software, and in-house ordering apps.
  • Track aggregator orders (Zomato, Swiggy, Dineout), handle cancellations, and manage ratings.
  • Maintain daily MIS reports, staff attendance, and logbooks.

3. Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong leadership and team-handling ability.
  • Excellent communication In English and guest-handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
  • Problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making.
  • Knowledge of F&B, cocktails, cuisines, and hygiene standards.
  • Understanding of marketing, upselling, and guest engagement techniques.
  • Tech-friendly (POS, Excel, CRM, aggregator apps).
  • Should be ready to work in late night shift, till 3 AM 

4. Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in Restaurants, Bars, Lounges, Clubs, or QSRs.
  • Proven track record in team management and guest relations.
  • Will not get weekly off on Sunday, Saturday, Friday & Wednesday. Will get on the Monday, Thursday & Tuesday.

5. Work Hours & Environment

  • Flexible to work weekends, festive seasons, and late-night shifts.
