Retail Cashier

Job SummaryWe are looking for a polite, honest, and customer-friendly Retail Cashier to manage billing operations at our kids’ clothing store. The cashier will be responsible for handling sales transactions accurately while providing a pleasant shopping experience to parents and children.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle cash, UPI, card, and wallet payments accurately
• Operate billing/POS software and generate invoices
• Ensure correct pricing, discounts, and offers are applied
• Maintain daily cash balance, billing reports, and receipts
• Assist customers with billing-related queries
• Coordinate with sales staff during peak hours
• Manage returns/exchanges as per store policy
• Keep the cash counter area clean, organized, and secure
• Inform management about any billing issues or discrepancies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation Completed (Commerce preferred)
• Prior experience as a cashier in retail (clothing store experience is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of billing software / POS systems
• Comfortable with digital payments (UPI, card, wallets)
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Polite, patient, and customer-oriented attitude
• Ability to work on weekends and during festive rush

Working Hours

• Store timings - 11.00 AM to 9.00 PM
• Weekly off - (as per store policy)
