Title: Store Incharge – Dark Store

Department: Swastik Kart Operations / Warehouse

Reporting To: Area Manager / Operations Manager/ DHM

Job Summary:

The Store Incharge is responsible for managing overall operations of the dark store, ensuring

smooth order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch. The role

involves team supervision, process adherence, and coordination with delivery partners and

central operations to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end dark store operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and

dispatch.

Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within defined SLAs.

Manage daily inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and minimize discrepancies.

Monitor temperature-sensitive or perishable items (if applicable) and maintain quality

standards.

Supervise store staff, allocate shifts, and ensure adherence to productivity benchmarks.

Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance standards within the store.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams for smooth operations.

Analyze order patterns, stock movement, and suggest improvements for operational

efficiency.

Track KPIs like order accuracy, shrinkage, and on-time fulfillment rate.

Handle escalations and ensure quick resolution of operational issues.

Requirements:

12th Pass/ Graduate or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, or retail.

2-5 years of experience in store/inventory/warehouse management, preferably in e-

commerce or dark store setup.Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of inventory software / WMS systems.

Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility for rotational shifts or extended hours during peak operations.
