Financial Data Analyst

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Responsible for aggregating financial data on global companies and processing them thorough CRISIL’s proprietary product

·        Validate and remove inconsistencies in data, standardize as per defined taxonomies

·        Outside company financials, manage reference data (for instance, Price and FX rates), Industry data, Public Finance and ESG data

·        Support the team lead in handling MIS and other data allocation requirements

·        Provide continuous input for process and product improvements

FUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIOURAL KNOWLEDGE

·        Has a good grasp of financial accounting concepts

·        Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and particularly Excel

·        Should be capable of handling multiple time-sensitive requirements and deliver high quality output within committed timelines

PROBLEM SOLVING

·        Understand product capabilities, handle workarounds appropriately to achieve overall delivery objectives

INTERACTIONS

·        Work well with other team members across locations

·        Liaise with other related teams and communicate effectively

·        Should have good verbal and written communication skills
