RPA Developer

Role

• Developing, configuring and customizing the platform according to business requirements
• Plans and coordinates all automation activities related to the detailed design, development, and implementation of Blue Prism RPA platform.
• Develop and deploy the bots in Blue Prism platform in consultation with all stakeholders.
• Guides the RPA Development Team on issues related to the detailed design, development, and deployment of software or application.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Evaluate new process opportunities and identify other new processes, assessing viability as soon as possible.
• Optimize and document the business processes in detail where required to determine and convey the technological infrastructure needs.
• Create process solutions that adhere to Blue Prism design concepts and standards.
• Integrate new Blue Prism processes and objects that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and simple to comprehend, leveraging basic workflow concepts.
• Create and manage solution documentation.
• Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
• Optimize and manage the entire RPA delivery lifecycle and Accreditation Program.
• Evaluate, comprehend, and record business processes in detail as needed.
• Connect with the vendor Platform team about software issues, make suggestions for improvements, and interact with other RPA community members.
• Work within the constraints of project planning, notify the delivery/project manager of any detected project risks and concerns to the delivery/project manager as needed, and contribute to the change control process.
• Facilitate challenges that arise in the day-to-day operation of Blue Prism processes by providing prompt replies and solutions as needed.
• Support throughout the UAT and launch phases and assist the operational teams.
• Verify that security and data privacy requirements are followed.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of automated processes and infrastructure.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field
• Proven experience in developing RPA solutions (must have) using Blue Prism/Service Now (good to have).
• Strong understanding of RPA concepts and best practices.
• Understanding Process Studio, Control Room, Scheduling, Work Queues, Change Request, Bug Fixes, and Process Enhancement.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully connect with technical and non-technical customers.
• Experience as a developer, as well as monitoring and maintenance, is required.
• AD01 Certified recommended.
• Blue Prism software proficiency, including the understanding of its features, operations, and capabilities
• Programming languages such as C# or Java are required.
• Knowledge of software development methods like Agile and Waterfall
• Understanding development tools and procedures will assist in developing use cases and designing project requirements.
• Ability to utilize critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment while managing several demands.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create long-lasting apps.
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills ability to create and maintain long lasting client relationships
• Strong attention to details & possesses organizational skills.
