Sales Promoter

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and persuasive In-Store Promoter to represent Trusto Idli Batter and Trusto Dosa Batter. The primary goal is to drive sales by engaging with customers in the retail store, providing product education, and conducting in-store sampling to highlight the freshness, convenience, and superior taste of our batter.

Key Responsibilities

• Active Customer Engagement: Approach shoppers in the aisle, introduce Trusto batter, and explain its unique selling points (e.g., no preservatives, homemade taste, perfect fermentation).
• Live Product Demonstration/Sampling: Prepare and offer samples of idlis/dosas to customers to showcase the quality and taste.
• Drive Sales (Conversion): Convince shoppers to pick up Trusto products, striving to meet daily/weekly sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Act as an expert on Trusto products, explaining how to use, store, and maximize the shelf life of the batter.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the display area is clean, well-stocked, and attractive. Arrange stock to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) to maintain product freshness.
• Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback regarding the product, taste, and packaging, and report this to the supervisor.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily records of samples distributed and units sold.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in FMCG, retail, or food product promotion is preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in the local language (and English/Hindi).
• Attitude: Outgoing, polite, and persuasive personality.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Availability: Must be available on weekends and holidays (peak shopping times).
• Hygiene: Must maintain high personal hygiene standards (hairnet, apron, gloves) while handling food products.
