Job Description

• Expert level knowledge in two of the following areas EMC VNX CLARiiON EMC VMAX DMX VNX VPLEX IBM Flash 8xx NetApp Storage Dell and Hitachi Environment
• Storage SME are responsible for Monitoring Incident and Change
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in above
• In depth understanding about SAN fabrics and Host to SAN connectivity
• In depth understanding of NAS Protocols CIFS and NFS
• Follow ITIL processes Incident management Problem management Change management Performance management Capacity management Configuration availability management activities
• Participate in Change release management Plan Implement routine normal complex changes Participate in CAB and TAB Raise change requests where required
• Knowledge about using ticketing system for daily operations Service Center
• Ability to lead escalations within Storage and cross platform
• Participate or lead storage projects independently
• Excellent communications customer service documentation skills oral and written
