Support the design, development and implementation of the SAP Portals environment including, iViews, Applets, Custom Services, Standard Services, Portal Roles, Bex Reports, SAP Business Applications/transactions, etc.

• Provide portal integration with other non-SAP applications as required.

• Establish and socialize enterprise reporting tool standards and templates.

• Support the full development life cycle of portal development including documentation of functional specifications, technical specifications, coding, unit testing, thread testing, system integration testing, implementation.

• Establish Portal and portal reporting vision and strategies.

• Take a proactive approach on investigation, review, and assessment of Rowan Companies, Inc.'s SAP Portal and corresponding technologies.

• Establish strategies, methods, processes, and tools for improving design, performance, security and information access to ensure the environment meets the needs of both the business unit and enterprise while allowing for growth and flexibility.

• Provide 24 x 7 production support and administration of Portal operations and reporting capabilities including resolution of daily issues/requests, performance management, maintenance upgrades, and production migrations.

• Lead and participate on teams and projects to understand business needs, design and recommend solutions, and provide support and training on the evolving Portal and portal reporting environment.

• Facilitate establishment and socialization of user and support guides detailing the environment, its information, standards and processes.

• Provide insight based on past experiences, offer suggestions and possible solutions to challenges and issues presented
