Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Consultant – AMS Support

Role Overview
The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant – AMS is responsible for providing application support, incident resolution, and functional enhancements for warehouse management processes running on SAP EWM within SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP environments.
The consultant will work closely with business users, IT teams, and technical consultants to ensure smooth warehouse operations and continuous system improvement.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide L2/L3 support for SAP EWM issues in production and non-production environments.
•    Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets raised through ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
•    Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to:
o    Inbound and outbound processing
o    Warehouse task and warehouse order management
o    Picking, packing, and shipping
o    Inventory management and stock discrepancies
o    Physical inventory
•    Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
•    Configure and maintain EWM settings such as:
o    Warehouse structure
o    Storage types and bins
o    Putaway and picking strategies
o    Handling units and packaging specifications
•    Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
•    Collaborate with technical consultants to develop and test enhancements.
•    Prepare functional specifications (FS) for minor developments or system improvements.
•    Provide end-user support and documentation.

Required Skills
•    Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM
•    Experience supporting warehouse and logistics operations
•    Knowledge of:
o    Inbound/outbound processes
o    Wave management
o    RF transactions
o    Physical inventory
•    Integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP

Preferred Qualifications
•    4–8 years of SAP experience with EWM support
•    Experience with embedded EWM in SAP ECC
•    Exposure to RF framework and warehouse automation
•    SAP EWM certification (preferred)
