SAP PPQM-AM

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – SAP Production Planning and Quality Management (PPQM) to support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality solutions in enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP PP and QM modules, hands-on configuration experience, and exposure to modern SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, and RISE with SAP.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates  
  • Support the SAP PP and QM workstreams in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, covering discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing along with quality inspection and control processes.
  • Configure SAP PP components including Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, MRP, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
  • Configure SAP QM components including Inspection Planning, Quality Notifications, Results Recording, and Quality Certificates.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Ensure integration with related modules such as MM, SD, PM, and EWM.
  • Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT), data migration, and cutover planning.
  • Work with technical teams to support WRICEF developments and ensure solution quality.
  • Contribute to the adoption of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
  • Provide post-go-live support and help resolve functional and integration issues.
  • Stay updated on SAP PPQM innovations including predictive MRP, embedded analytics, and digital quality management.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates  

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years of SAP experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in PP and QM.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM configuration and process design.
  • Good understanding of MRP, shop floor control, production execution, and quality inspection processes in S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori apps, and RISE with SAP is a plus.
  • Cross-module integration experience with MM, SD, PM, and EWM.

Certifications

  • Required: SAP S/4HANA Production Planning or Quality Management Certification 
  • Preferred: SAP Activate Project Manager (Associate Level)

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (B.Tech, MBA, etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
