Security Consulting Practitioner
Project Role : Security Consulting PractitionerProject Role Description : Provide enterprise-level advice to make organizations cyber resilient. Assist in navigating the complex landscape of cyber threats, ensuring robust digital asset protection while maintaining trust with stakeholders.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to lead the team and managing client communication day to day basis
Define, configure, and schedule internal vulnerability scans in line with the vulnerability management Runbook.
Ensure timely and successful completion of internal scans and maintain regular scanning cadence.
Review scan results, validate findings, and eliminate false positives per agreed procedures.
Provide remediation recommendations to address high and critical vulnerabilities.
Track vulnerability remediation status as per agreed SLA
Prepare and distribute scheduled vulnerability reports to defined stakeholders
Maintain and update stakeholder lists for vulnerability reporting and notifications.
Troubleshoot vulnerability scanner issues and ensure successful scanning
Technical Experience
Minimum 5-6 years Experience in infrastructure vulnerability management, IT security, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Tenable /MDVM(or similar tool)
Strong understanding of vulnerability scanning, remediation processes, and false-positive validation.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tool implementation and support
Experience creating and maintaining process documentation such as runbooks or SOPs
Proficiency in generating and interpreting vulnerability reports and dashboards.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage multiple remediation timelines.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks) is a plus.
Professional Experience
Should be flexible for working time and shifts
Travel to other locations when required
Approach and attitude to learn new technologies cross skilling, Upskilling
Having relevant industry certification is plus
Good Communication presentation skill
Educational Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful security solutions and services
