Role Overview

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing site security operations, managing security personnel, and ensuring the safety of people, property, and assets. This role demands vigilance, leadership, and coordination with internal teams and external agencies to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily activities of security guards across all shifts
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure optimal manpower deployment
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure site safety and protocol adherence
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels
• Respond to emergencies, coordinate evacuation procedures, and liaise with law enforcement if needed
• Train security staff on SOPs, emergency response, and customer service
• Maintain incident logs, visitor records, and daily security reports
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Investigate security breaches, thefts, or suspicious activities and report findings
• Coordinate with HR and Admin for ID card issuance, access permissions, and disciplinary actions

Required Skills & Qualifications Criteria Details

Education

Minimum Graduate; diploma in security management or ex-servicemen preferred

Experience

3–7 years in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Skills

Leadership, vigilance, crisis management, report writing, basic computer literacy

Language

Proficiency in local language; English/Hindi communication preferred

Preferred Attributes

• Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with fire safety, emergency protocols, and first aid
• Experience with electronic surveillance and access control systems
• Ability to manage large teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Ex-Serviceman preferred.
