Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Role Summary

The role involves handling day-to-day accounting specially sales, ledger management, reconciliations and statutory documentation. The person will ensure accurate books of accounts and support in arranging report and reconciliations for monthly MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily restaurant sales, dine-in, takeaway and online sales (Swiggy, Zomato, etc.).
• Reconcile daily online sales with payment settlements and commission deductions.
• Verify discounts, GST, TCS and delivery charges from online aggregator reports.
• Check POS reports, cash collection, UPI payments and card settlements.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable and general ledger in coordination with purchase team.
• Assist in Prepare GST, TDS and Income Tax workings and provide all data to CA office for calculations and filing returns. 
• Review bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations
• Maintain proper records of invoices, vouchers, supporting documents and reconciliations in coordination with accounts team
• Guide junior accountants on routine accounting work and get the assigned task completed on time.
• Resolving Monthly internal audit points / issues
• provide management with required financial data or reports when needed

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred
• 5–8 years of accounting experience
• Good knowledge of GST and TDS workings
• Practical experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
