Role: BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SUPPORT - SENIOR ANALYST

Purpose: Support the preparation of various presentations and communication materials which should be clear, concise and easy to understand for the intended audience, which may include senior management. The incumbent shall also actively monitor competitor/industry products, services and trends to provide key insights which may potentially influence the business or market. As and when required, the individual shall also undertake various management/administrative support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management (internal & external)
    • Support the conceptualisation and preparation of presentations, briefings and other communication materials, effectively conveying complex concepts in a visual and easy to understand manner
    • Support the drafting of internal memos in a clear and compelling language suitable for the intended audience (e.g. executive summaries for senior management)
  • Business Management
    • Support various business management tasks (e.g. management reporting, maintenance of job descriptions, new joiner checklists)
    • Monitor the products, services and markets of competitors and the industry, identifying and summarising developments/trends that may influence or impact the business
    • Undertake general administrative support as required/relevant
  • People Management
    • Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment
    • Motivate and provide guidance/feedback to other team members to improve overall performance
    • Build highly impactful relationships with regional and global stakeholders across functions in the Bank

Experience & Skills 

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with knowledge of Private Banking 
  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and able to present information/data in a visual manner 
  • Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and broad understanding of the financial market and products 
  • Practical and able to troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions 
  • Fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines 
  • Good communication/coordination skills to deal with different levels/seniorities of stakeholders 
  • Language Skills: English (oral and written)
