Senior Application Developer - Java Microservices

  • 3+ Years of overall software development experience in enterprise system
  • Software development experience in Core Java, including multi-threading
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
  • Experience as  a AWS solutions architect
  • Experience in microservice architecture and low-latency implementations.
  • Experience working with distributed caching systems,grpc
  • Experience in implementing Apache Kafka data pipeline
  • Experience in AWS, including S3, Lambda , EFS,EKS and CloudFormation
  • Good understanding of GRPC and strong knowledge of cloud security principles and AWS security tools
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile Software Development practices and how to leverage these to streamline project execution
  • Possess the ability to decompose business problems into smaller parts to correctly solution, taking into consideration the impact on other subsystems
  • AWS certification preferred
  • Team player with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with software engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Automated Testing, and Performance Engineering
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, especially regarding improving agile delivery metrics
  • Strong communication and team/technical leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
  • Consulting experience
  • Financial services experience is a plus
