Senior Data Engineering Lead

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineering Lead who can combine strong technical expertise with leadership and business collaboration to drive enterprise data transformation.

This is a high-visibility role where you’ll work with global stakeholders, design scalable solutions, and enable advanced analytics & AI initiatives.

What You’ll Do
• Lead design and development of scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions to support Finance operation.
• Build and manage data transformations using dbt.
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data platforms for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop ingestion and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Build automation, data processing, and pipeline logic using Python.
• Enable analytics and reporting through optimized Power BI data models.
• Partner with business and analytics teams to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with teams across different time zones and drive delivery.
• Mentor and manage a team of data engineers, setting best practices and engineering standards.
• Support AI initiatives by enabling high-quality, analytics-ready datasets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Platform roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in dbt, Snowflake, and ADF
• Strong Python programming for data engineering and automation
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with Power BI data modeling
• Exposure to AI data use cases

 Leadership & Engagement

• Strong stakeholder, client, and vendor management capabilities

• Experience collaborating across global teams and time zones

• Strong communication, ownership mindset, and architectural decision-making ability
