Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Establish data governance standards to strengthen the adoption of Data Policy
  • Working with cross functional teams as a Data Governance SME to address governance issues and improvements through adoption of SOP, standards, and policy
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on data policies, procedures, and best practices of data governance and data governance tool related processes
  • Provide training to users on data governance tools to promote awareness and adherence
  • Contributing to the overall data governance framework, ensuring compliance to Data Policy
  • Collaborating with data owners and data stewards to ensure data governance is implemented and followed
  • Able to work with Informatica as a vendor as there will be technical platform issues that requires coordination and solution

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Data Governance domain, including policy implementation and framework development.
  • Proven track record in managing data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra) and ensuring effective adoption across the organization.
  • Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and integration between applications for accurate data flow and traceability.
  • Experience in defining and enforcing data standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data quality principles and ability to collaborate with data stewards and owners to resolve governance issues.
  • Exposure to regulatory requirements and risk management related to data governance.
  • Asset Management industry experience is a plus.
