Senior Designer

Eaton is hiring for the role of Senior Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform detailed design engineering using CAD platforms such as Solidworks, Creo 7.0, AutoCAD etc.
• Perform assignments of specific engineering tasks, e.g. a Create 2D Drawing, create 3D models, prepare specifications.
• Modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
• Perform GD&T & Tolerance stake-up analysis for FMC product designs.
• Interact with global cross-functional teams.
• Creation of 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing product drawings and models.
• Utilize the PLM (Enovia) system for documentation control and workflow.
• Create 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing drawings and models.
• Sustain process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data control for the associated business group.
• Utilize understanding of manufacturing processes to improve new and existing designs & acts as a technical resource for internal/external customers and resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain credible communication practice with stakeholders on technical clarifications, testing & resolving of field failures.
• Maintain effective communications both verbal & written with customers, team members and cross-functional departments.
• Be an active professional in continuous learning resulting in enhancement in organizational objectives.
• Perform quality self-checks to ensure the design meets Eaton and customer standards/requirements.
• Ensure the right quality and on-time delivery of drawings & engineering documents.
