Also take patient rounds and can manage a team of junior doctors. • To examine every patient coming to CASUALTY. • Every admitting patient should go from casualty or it’s the responsibility of a casualty medical officer to examine every patient who is going to admit in the hospital. • After examining every patient he/she should write the notes on patients paper without fail. • If the patient he/she is examining needs admission he should guide the patient & relatives accordingly & should guide them to the admission counter. • Giving orders to the nurses regarding the line of treatment of patient. • Informing the concerned consultant about the patient status & deciding the further line of treatment.
