The Role
As a Senior Document Controller with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Manage Document Control function on large/complex projects. Role may also have system specialization function. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately logged, managed and issued via the Electronic Document Management System. It is imperative that each project has an accurate database containing each revision of all documents/drawings issued on a project and capturing all necessary meta-data for each record including every document that is issued to each Company throughout the life of the project.
Responsible for performing difficult and complex work assignments involving independent judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional and organization policies and goals. While the role may have lead responsibilities, the role is primarily an individual contributor with advanced, specialized technical knowledge.
Generally characterized as a "Lead" with the ability to conceptually interpret and lead technical support assignments. Performs difficult and highly complex technical support assignments, requiring the application of advanced techniques, and engineering and mathematical principles, in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Works under general supervision and self-initiated technical guidance with regular weekly to monthly interaction with supervisor. Work is not generally supervised in detail and amount of supervision varies depending upon the assignment. Broad duties assigned monthly. Work is occasionally reviewed for accuracy. Usually, technical guidance is available to review work programs and advise on unusual features of assignment.
May exercise work direction over a small number of personnel, involving guidance and instruction on work methods and checking finished work.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Technical school graduates with 7+ years relevant experience in area of specialization or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Seasoned ability to inform and persuade on complex matters comes from recognition as subject matter expert. Utilized on the most complex, confidential and difficult problems.
Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
