Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Devops Engg. to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and administering essential tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, and JFrog. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our development and deployment processes, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Administer and maintain tools including GitLab, SonarQube, and JFrog, ensuring optimal performance and availability. 

- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. 

- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash or Python to automate processes and improve tool efficiency. 

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate tools and streamline workflows. 

- Utilize APIs for tool integration and data retrieval; troubleshoot API-related issues. 

- Stay updated with new technologies and tools; demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and adapting. 

- Participate in team meetings, providing input on best practices and tool enhancements. 

- Be available to work extra hours when necessary to meet project deadlines or resolve critical issues. 

- Work in a highly collaborative, multi-country/time zone environment

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

- Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence

- 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience managing tools like GitLab, SonarQube, and JFrog. 

- 2 to 4 years of experience in managing GitLab CI/CD processes. 

- Proficiency in Bash/Shell or Python scripting is preferred. 

- Strong understanding of APIs and experience in API integration. 

- A positive attitude towards learning new technologies and working collaboratively with team members. 

- Ability to work extra hours when required to meet project demands. 

- Familiarity in configuring and maintenance of Windows and Unix/Linux applications is preferred.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and AWS is a good-to-have.
