What You Will Do In Your Role (Oracle Application Support - Dev/Ops)

• Provide first-line application support for a wide range of product or systems-related service requests
• Log and manage support requests in the appropriate systems and ensure that the appropriate internal and customer follow-up is performed within the published or agreed timelines
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues, working towards the resolution at first level within a timely manner or work with your manager or team members to reassign to the appropriate resource or group.
• May reproduce technical issues that customers report in a test environment to troubleshoot & resolve.
• Extensive knowledge of program development and analysis of capabilities designed to resolve business requirements utilizing Oracle products and tools.
• Ability to influence and set technical direction.
• Apply best knowledge fixing application issues, implementing standards to medium complexity and recommend process improvements.
• Recognize upstream and downstream impacts; communicate effectively (verbally & in writing).
• Work on the oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL objects like functions, procedures, packages, triggers, views, cursors.
• Develop and optimize database structures, store procedures, complex PL/SQL code, dynamic management views, DDL triggers and user define functions.
• Develop /Update Unix shell scripts
• Perform Maintenance and Support Activities for application
• Decrease incidents and increase uptime of the applications.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and perform tuning on code.
• Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. 
• Produces technical design documentation as required and ensures work complies with the architectural roadmap. Identifies and updates existing design documents impacted due to changes
• Ensures individual and team tasks are performed on-time by communicating and working closely with other members of the team.
• Retains a focus on completion, identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience with Java, Springboot, Eclipse, Angular preferred.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical experience developing or supporting Oracle Database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
• 5+ years of user interface and presentation design and development skills
• 5+ years analysis, design, and ability to deliver a quality product on time
• Strong experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Advance PL/SQL programming such as bulk handling, pipelined functions, analytical queries, collections, objects etc.
• At least 1+ Experience with Java, Springboot, Eclipse, Angular preferred.
• Thorough understanding of application development project lifecycle and methodologies used.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Able to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Should have strong knowledge on Incident management, Change management and Release management.
• Ability to learn in fast pace and support custom applications and/or new technologies in a rapidly changing environment.
• Must be a strong team player
