About the Role:
As a Senior Income Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring timely and accurate compliance with direct tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This includes managing withholding tax, advance tax payments, income tax return filings, tax provisioning, and handling related documentation for global subsidiaries. The role offers a dynamic work environment within a multinational corporation operating in over 100 countries. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual tax compliance filings including:
o Withholding Tax (TDS) returns
o Advance Tax calculations and payments
o Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns
o Tax provision workings for statutory reporting
• Assist in maintaining and reconciling tax accounts; ensure proper documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (P2P, R2R, Treasury, FP&A, STAT COE) and external consultants for accurate and timely tax reporting.
• Support tax assessments, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities in various jurisdictions.
• Assist in implementation and testing of tax process improvements or automation initiatives within the organisation.
• Provide support to the team wherever required, including ad hoc assignments, data requests, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• CA / CMA (CWA) / CPA Qualified
• Over 2-4 years relevant professional experience in a medium to large multinational company
• Knowledge of Taxation Laws
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and financial statements.
• Problem Solving attitude, Strong communication skills, time management and a strong team player.
